Our Ancestors were not fools.

When strange or bad things happen, they ask God questions and look for a solution, they don't thank him.
When they want food, they go to farms they don't go to pray in their shrines.
When any of them commits sin, he is punished to deter others from doing the same, they don't tell God to forgive him.
When they want money, they sell their farm and fish products or anything they learnt how to produce, they don't pray to God to give them.
When they are sick, they go to an herbalist or make use of herbs and roots that can cure the sickness, they don't wait for miracles.
When they want a wife, they investigate the would-be in-laws, they don't pray in the shrine for signs and wonders.
When one of them dies, they come together and bury him, they don't calculate and request the payment of his shrine levies before burial.
The village Chief priest has his own farm and works to sustain his family, he doesn't wait for tithes.
Their wives respect and call their husbands Nna anyα»‹ (Daddy) and not the chief priest.

Our ancestors never built a big house or a wealthy shrine for their God and live in trenches, rather they built poor huts for Him while they live in wealthy houses with a large compound because a God doesn't need a house he live within and around you. #afrique #black #africa

In Uganda if you want to marry a lady after everyone is seated they will ask your elder sister to go and have a test of the person who wants to get married to her younger sister to see how the man does in bed and to still confirm it the person manhood is working perfectly before he will be allowed to do the marital right. My culture has started another thing which am yet to define.  I witness a tradition marriage ceremony were everyone is seated all the items bought by the mother in-law was brought out including bed and they supposed husband and wife was ask to go and sleep on it together in public πŸ™„. His new girlfriend demanded that they live in Jake and Edith's multi-million dollar home and since the man's lawyers were a little better he prevailed. One of the most agonizing execution methods in human history , flaying was likely first practiced by the ancient Assyrians of Mesopotamia. Not only did they skin their prisoners of war alive, but they also took strides to make their victims' deaths as painful as possible. Assyrian executioners often started with the victim's buttocks or thighs, using sharp blades to pull the skin off in clean strips so that they could later hang them on the city walls.  This practice later continued on a massive scale during the Ming Dynasty in China between 1368 and 1644 C.E. The cruel Emperor Taizu reportedly slaughtered some 40,000 people just for criticizing him. Then, he followed the Assyrian model of flaying them and hanging their skins from the wall.
