According to various sources, including news articles and historical records, Obi Benjamin Ikenchukwu Keagborekuzi I was crowned as the Dein of Agbor in 1979, following the sudden death of his father, Obi Samuel Ashaye. He was only 2 years and 4 months old at the time of his coronation.
