In 1914, an explorer named Ernest Shackleton set out on a daring mission. His goal? To be the first person to walk across the icy wilderness of Antarctica. He and his crew of 27 men set sail on a ship called the Endurance. But things didn't go as planned. Just two days after leaving South Georgia, the ship got trapped in thick sea ice. For ten long months, the Endurance was stuck, slowly being crushed by the moving ice. Finally, when the pressure became too high, the Endurance was lifted by the ice, its rudder and keel torn off, and water started to rush in. Shackleton and his crew had no choice but to abandon their ship and set up camp on the ice.
They spent months drifting on ice floes, surviving on limited supplies. In April 1916, they managed to reach Elephant Island using lifeboats. But they knew that no one would find them there, so Shackleton made a bold decision. He and five others set off in a lifeboat, sailing 800 miles across the stormy Southern Ocean to South Georgia. After they landed, Shackleton had to cross the island's mountains to get to a whaling station.
From there, he organized a rescue mission to save the rest of his crew back on Elephant Island. And guess what? All 27 men survived. Their ship, the Endurance, was lost until 2022 when it was found at the bottom of the sea. Shackleton's story is a real-life example of how people can survive even the toughest situations. It shows us that with determination and teamwork, we can overcome almost anything.

In Uganda if you want to marry a lady after everyone is seated they will ask your elder sister to go and have a test of the person who wants to get married to her younger sister to see how the man does in bed and to still confirm it the person manhood is working perfectly before he will be allowed to do the marital right. Please i need advice on this, post for me I am married with 2 kids , i met my husband when he had nothing , we dated for 5 years and we are married for 6 years now, we suffered to the extent of begging food from family members and neighbors . All this long, he pretended to be a good man and that was why i married him. Fast forward, 2 years after, i had a job which was paying very good , i took loan to buy him car to use as Uber here in Accra, he became financially stable after 1 year driving the uber. I bought another car for my personal use which he sometimes drives it when he don’t go to work . My husband dont care about me ever since he became financially stable. He dosnt touch me when he return from work, he sleeps in the sofa or the guest room, he doesn’t sleep in the bedroom again.
