Daughter of Mark Antony and Cleopatra VII, last queen of Egypt, she was deported to Rome, paraded in gold chains by Octavian, but was then entrusted, with her two brothers, to Octavian's  sister Octavia Minor to take care of their education.
A beautiful and ambitious woman, she had several husbands but was unable to realize her dreams of becoming a great queen like her mother. She played played a very important role in cultural development of the countries where she lived.
