MARRIAGE IN SOUTH SUDAN MEANS 4 YEARS OF FREEDOM FOR BRIDE

Today we tour the Dinka custom of marriage. Despite payment of dowry that ranges from 100 to 500 cows, women are treated godly.
Once a man gets married, his wife will not cook or sweep for 4 years. This period is called "Anyuuc" (Generous Welcoming). It is meant for the new bride to rest, relax and study her husband homestead values.
During this time, her husband's sister will do the cooking, washing utensils, collecting firewood, fetching water, and doing other domestic work till later.

After 4 years, her husband decides to arrange a very big party called "Thaat" (cooking festival) where 3 cows and 5 goats are slaughtered to initiate a wife into cooking for the family.

But if the man misbehaved during the 4 years the wife can decide to leave and she doesn't even have to pay back anything.

The prisoners were forced to march more than 60 miles through the tropical heat of the Philippines with almost no water and just one bowl of rice for the entire week. And those who survived the marching were treated to worse brutality by their captors. The luckier victims were shot to death, while others were disemboweled, emasculated, decapitated, or even crucified. In the end, as many as 18,000 prisoners were dead within the span of just ten days.

The worst rail disaster in Britain took place at Quintinshill (Gretna Green) in Scotland, killing 227 people and injuring 246.   The chain of disaster started when a troop train collided with the stationary commuter train which had been stopped to allow the a delayed Sleeper Service a chance to make up the time lost. This commuter train had been moved from Northbound line to the Southbound mainline rather than into the actual passing loops, these where occupied by two freight trains.  The commuter train was now directly in the path of a troop train carrying 500 men of the 1/7th Leith Battalion of the Royal Scots on route for Gallipoli. All troop trains have clear line status, something that is still enforced today should the need arise. This also means that it’s travelling at full speed and smashed head on into the commuter train.  Just a minute later the Sleeper Service from Euston to Glasgow collided with the wreckage of the troop and commuter train....

This random guy walked up to me while I was at the mall with my grand baby sitting at the table. He said excuse me ma’am I replied yes sir. He said my grand baby is in Houston hospital fighting for her life. He said he was always told, if you see a need plant a seed. He handed me a 100 dollars and stated he wanted to plant a seed with me for his grand baby. He said ma’am please go get that baby something for Christmas for me from my grand baby, Merry Christmas . Please keep him and his grand baby lifted in prayer. Just thought I would share. I know I have some real prayer warriors down my timeline.
