. we have seen pictures, read text content on how he became a global Icon and brought glory to Nigeria.

 But one thing is, we have never watch video clips of Power Mike (video tells a lot of stories, none of the videos are found in Youtube) no single video clips attached to Power Mike's career. The stories are incomplete without video in today innovative technology

His name is Michael Okpala (a.k.a Power Mike) born in Neni in 8th August 1939. He was a household name in wrestling and retired as an undefeated World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion. There is a stadium named after him, Power Mike Stadium in Onitsha, Anambra State. He died in 11th March 2004 and was buried in Neni his home town. many of Pa's and Ma's only remember he fought Johnny Kwango, Ray Apollon and many others.

The worst rail disaster in Britain took place at Quintinshill (Gretna Green) in Scotland, killing 227 people and injuring 246.   The chain of disaster started when a troop train collided with the stationary commuter train which had been stopped to allow the a delayed Sleeper Service a chance to make up the time lost. This commuter train had been moved from Northbound line to the Southbound mainline rather than into the actual passing loops, these where occupied by two freight trains.  The commuter train was now directly in the path of a troop train carrying 500 men of the 1/7th Leith Battalion of the Royal Scots on route for Gallipoli. All troop trains have clear line status, something that is still enforced today should the need arise. This also means that it’s travelling at full speed and smashed head on into the commuter train.  Just a minute later the Sleeper Service from Euston to Glasgow collided with the wreckage of the troop and commuter train....

The Vasa, a heavily armed Swedish warship , sank in 1628 AD, less than a mile into its maiden voyage due to design flaws.
