An ancient iron trident has been discovered in Assos, an ancient Greek city in Turkey. The trident is 1,700 years old and is in excellent condition. It is likely a fishing tool that was used by the people of Assos.
This is an important discovery because it provides insight into the lives of the people of Assos and their fishing practices. The trident is also a significant artifact because it is well-preserved and is made of iron, a material that is not commonly found in archaeological sites.
